2023 Broadband Tax Institute (BTI) Annual Conference
The Broadband Tax Institute Annual Conference will be held at The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona. A block of rooms is being held for conference registrants. Registrants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations and may do so by calling 1-800-888-8234 or online at https://book.passkey.com/event/50585430/owner/50015067/home. If making your reservation via phone, please remember to specify that you are with the "Broadband Tax Institute Annual Conference". The contracted room rate is $369. Early registration/reservations are encouraged. The following policies are applicable to room reservations: A one-night room deposit, excluding tax, is required at time of reservation. Cancellation policy: There is a 3-day cancellation policy. Failure to arrive on your scheduled date will result in a cancellation of the reservation and deposit forfeiture. If a reservation is cancelled within 3 days of arrival, the full deposit will be forfeited. If a reservation is reduced in length of stay within the cancellation period, a penalty fee applies. All reservations require a valid credit card and picture identification at time of check in. All room rates are subject to prevailing fees/taxes. The BTI block of rooms will be released for sale to the public on September 21, 2023. Requests for accommodations after that date, or sooner if the block sells out, cannot be ensured.
If paying your registration fees via check, please make checks payable to the Broadband Tax Institute. Please attach your check to a copy of your registration form and contact Jennifer Justis via email @ jennifer_justis@comcast.com for mailing instruction. Registrations will not be considered complete until your payment has been received. Registrations cannot be accepted over the phone and/or via fax. Registrations may be completed online via credit card at www.broadbandtax.org.
Please note the following important information: Refunds for conference cancellations made after Friday, September 29, 2023, will be made at the sole discretion of the BTI. Conference fees for registrants include the following: Welcome Cocktail Reception on Sunday, October 22; Continental Breakfast, Luncheon, and Cocktail Reception & Dinner on Monday, October 23; Continental Breakfast, Luncheon, and Cocktail Reception on Tuesday, October 24; Continental Breakfast on Wednesday, October 25; All Refreshment Breaks and all Conference Materials. The fees for spouse/guest include the following: Welcome Cocktail Reception on Sunday, October 22; Cocktail Reception on Monday, October 23; Cocktail Reception on Tuesday, October 25. Questions? Dress Code / Weather ~ Attire is business casual throughout. You may want to bring a light jacket/sweater for air-conditioned conference rooms. In mid-October Scottsdale has an average high temperature of 82 degrees and an average low temperature of 58 degrees. Average Sunrise is 6:38 AM; Sunset is 5:44 PM.
